AXIOME PARTICIPATES IN THE FANTOM PROJECT !

Project FANTOM with IRT Jules Verne

AXIOME has the opportunity to participate in the FANTOM project launched by the IRT Jules Verne. The project involves making control operations on carbon composites parts more flexible by automating them in an agile way. The objectives are also to facilitate analysis and contribute to the digital continuity of the product.

The project will make it possible to work with flexibility, mobility and proximity to operators in robotic control applications for large structures.

The project was launched in January 2022 and is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

The FANTOM project has several innovative features

  • Automated non-destructive testing on a mobile platform.
  • Combining NDT data for automatic analysis and consolidated diagnosis.
  • Operator assistance for inspection data analysis and diagnostic reporting.

It also offers a range of applications

  • Inspection of complex composite structures.
  • Quality control : a combination of different types of inspection for a complete assessment of parts.
  • Workshop control : the robot can work close to operators.
